Argo for Mac

A Mac client for Navigic-hosted AI research: sourced investigation, visible research runs, and reviewable artifacts.

ArgoHosted runtime ready

Research question

Map the evidence around one market shift

Research artifact

Summarized source quality, compared competing claims, and saved open questions for the next pass.

Research runs remain visible while the report takes shape.

Why Argo

A Mac-native vessel for visible AI work.

One place for deep research

Use the primary research surface to investigate a topic, follow subdirections, and collect evidence in one workspace.

Keep research context across days

Preserve research runs, sources, notes, and summaries so an investigation can continue without being reconstructed from scratch.

Use research runs without losing visibility

Track research subagent activity, outputs, sources, and logs so delegated investigation remains reviewable.

Mac-native by default

Research from a native desktop client with a command palette, menu bar status, settings, and the public Mac release path.

Hosted runtime by design

Connect the Mac client to Navigic-managed runtime capacity so research execution stays remote while the desktop experience remains native.

How it works

Start with one active loop.

  1. Sign in from the Mac client

Use your Navigic account to reach the hosted research runtime attached to your workspace.

  2. Begin with one research question

Choose a topic, market, technical question, customer pattern, or open decision that needs sourced investigation.

  3. Run research remotely

Let the hosted runtime handle research execution, subdirections, and source collection while the client keeps progress visible.

  4. Review the artifacts

Check research reports, sources, notes, and logs when you need to verify conclusions or adjust direction.

Hosted runtime

Research from the Mac client. Execute remotely.

Argo connects a signed-in account to Navigic-managed runtime capacity. The Mac app is the desktop client for research sessions, sources, reports, logs, and review controls.

Hosted access uses short-lived runtime tickets. Network diagnostics are redacted before they are shown or shared, and manual pairing remains an advanced fallback rather than the primary setup path.

iPhone companion

Review research from the companion client.

The iOS companion connects through Navigic to the hosted research runtime attached to your account. It is for review, lightweight action, and staying close to active research.

Runtime execution stays on Navigic-managed infrastructure. Native apps do not host the runtime, expose a desktop tunnel, or sync a local workspace between devices.

FAQ

Notes before you install.

What is Argo for Mac?

Argo is the current Mac client for Navigic: a hosted AI research workspace for sourced investigation, research runs, and reviewable artifacts.

Where does Argo run?

Runtime execution is hosted on Navigic-managed infrastructure. The Mac and iOS apps are clients for that hosted research runtime.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign-in connects the native clients to your hosted research runtime, account-linked downloads, billing, and companion access.

How does Argo support trust?

The current product direction emphasizes visible research runs, sources, logs, controls, and signed Mac releases instead of hidden automation.

Will Argo always be the product name?

Argo is the current Mac app name. Navigic may revise the naming architecture as the product system matures.
